A preference, not a tracker.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a site can leave in the browser. The code of this project does not set analytics, advertising, or third-party cookies. It stores a preference in the browser’s local storage.

What is stored

The key cookieConsent records whether you accepted or declined the notice. The key eduNoticeSeen, for the session, records that you closed the education notice. Neither identifies you outside that browser.

Management

You can clear site storage in the browser settings. If you do, the notice shows again. Declining does not block reading. It only stores that you did not accept.

Retention

The preference stays until you delete it. There is no advertising retention period, because advertising cookies are not implemented. Contact: hello@investstarassets.net, 215 Spadina Avenue, Toronto, ON M5T 2C7, +1 416 928 4416.
